We are open every Sunday for your cycling needs. So call or come by to set up your weekly rentals. We do deliver and pick up free. And we also provide locks and helmets if you want to get out of your car while you're on the island!

Tailwind is all you feel!

There was a fresh north wind blowing about 20-25 mph, and I took my Giant Twist to the grocery store to get some bananas, and the electric assist front hub motor made the ride effortless into the wind, and I barely pedalled on the way back.

It truly is a way to get out of your car every once and a while, and get a little exercise.

Cruiser Rides Coming Soon!

We are going to have Wednesday and Friday afternoon Cruiser Rides. It will be an "Everybody Rides" ride with a pace to match.

We will start hopefully when the time changes, and if I get more good feedback to start sooner, we will.

We will start at the shop and head through the park (The Backcounry Trail). The routes are posted below, but it will be about an hour ride, give or take.

New Cyclocross/mountain bike trail

I went riding on my cross bike today, and found a very cool loop in the park. It's got all kinds of terrain: some paved, some busted up pavement, some quagmire, some pretty heavy sand, but excellent riding.

Definitly need a mountain or a cyclocross bike, but it's about a 9 mile loop, and very little overlap. And since I found out some of the ride is in The Mariners Forest, and some of it is on Rattlesnake Ridge, I'm calling it "The Mariner's Rattlesnake"
